Another ship, of the same design as the other, spots the new comer, and commences the same procedure. The cruiser lumbers toward the fighter and upon reaching it the captain, more cautious then Sahner, waits to see what the fighter will do.

Upon reaching the Dreadnought, the team attaches shorter individual tethers and go in search of some-form of access hatch.

At the end of the corridor lay a large, but single door with a sign that read 'Helm' over it.

The Nod crew watched with amusement as the intruders scrambled about looking for a hatch.

"I say it takes them 10 minuets to even locate a hatch." Said a turian crewman.

"i say thirty." Said the Klingon tactical officer.

"I Say 25mins to find the hatch another hour to open it" Said Tsar Putin.

Slavic opened the door and quietly slipped through.

The fighter moved to land on top of the ship, as he stepped out of the cockpit on top of the ship. As he did so, the fighter took off again, flying around the ship, in a passive state, the AI controlling it. The pilot walked towards the nearest airlock, his boots magnetically clinging to the hull.

The crew scampers around the top of the Dreadnought, unable to determine one metal structure for another. Finally, they give up and go to a view port and attempt to kick it in.

The bridge, like the rest of the ship, was lit only by oil-burning lamps. The room looked like the helm of and 18th-century ship-of-the-line transplanted into a iron box, the only major modification appearing to be a metal box under the wheel that looked it might contain electronic of some form and a phone-like device attached to a string. The crew also appeared to be dressed in heavy winter overcoats but also in 18th-century style. Two guards by the door drew swords and pointed them at Slavic. "Halt! Who are you and why are you here?" They exclaim in German, the rest of the bridge crew.

When word of the fighter zooming around the cruiser reaches the brdige, the crew begins to panic.

"I am Anton Slavik" Slavik replies in perfect German drawing a second pistol pointing one at each man. "And why is it so [censored] cold on this ship?"

A few minutes after they started panicking, the helmeted pilot pops his head from the top of the viewport, knocking on the glass first to get their attention, then pointing to writing on a datapad in his hand.

The team frowns at the crewmen and mime a door.

Sahner speaks for the two guards "Good day, Mr. Slavic, your on my ship so I'll be asking the questions. However, its cold because, despite all prayers, the fire is not hot enough."

Through the glass the pilot could hear screaming, then one of the lieutenants gets his head on straight and point toward the airlock.

The pilot nods, and goes back above, walking towards the airlock, slowly, but surely. Upon reaching the airlock, he sees to opening the stubborn door. Primitive...where are they getting the money for this bounty?

One of the bridge screw mutters something about Slavic's mother acting primitive in Latin, the rest of the crew looks as him funny. "Mr. Slavic, why are you here?" Sahner presses.

Once the pilot makes his way through the door he finds he's in the middle of a cannon battery, he would also see 18 Holy Marines standing at attention in two lines leading to the door out of the gun deck.

The crew feint when they see the Trandoshan, their heavy iron suits clanging as they hit the floor.

Sahner sighs muttering something about getting no where, "Alright, lets try a different angle, are you from that thing over there? If so, what is it?"

The pilot steps into the gun battery, not surprised that there were people standing there like that, after seeing the crew members on the bridge freaking out. He sighs, and takes off his helmet, breathing in the not-so-clean air. ...maybe I should put my helmet back on... He thought, the instant he breathed in the stale, ice cold atmosphere. He looked over at the others, his blue eyes seemingly being capable of piercing through their own and into their souls as far as looks go. "...Are you my escort?" He asked dully, not impressed obviously.

The team remains unconscious for some time, when they wake they quickly relapse from all the strange things around them.

Sahner smiles, This I can work with, he thinks, "Lazarus? you know of the Holy Bible? Welcome to God's land then." the crew cross themselves before Sahner continues "Your the first visitor we've had in about half a decade."

The pilot shrugs, and then presses a button on his arm, where a complex panel was located. His suit seemed to transform into a different, more casual appearance rather than a pressure suit. As they started walking along, he silently followed, making no noise whatsoever, either by breathing, walking, anything. He didn't stop to look around, his mind had already begun mapping the place though, as they went along.

malara hooks her blade back on her bandoleir. she gathers her men backtogether and takes note of the wounds.
Malara: glad to see everyone made it out alive, head to the seurgeon and get yourselves stitched up guys, double rum for everyone tonight.

The litany of Defiance maneuvered out of its dry dock after its refit. The crew moved about doing final system check before, Roach took Command of the litany for its shake down run. Roach sat on the command couch with Commander Ajay to his right and Lieutenant commander Dawson to his left. Roach took a drink from his flask allowing its revitalizing effects to energize his tiered body. His display showed all green from all departments.

"Set course for Ramius best possible speed." Roach barked.



The Litany entered warp Roach relaxed in his seat for the long voyage.

"You should get some sleep Admiral you haven't slept in 92 hours.* Dawson said glaring at roach.

"Come now Dawson the Admiral is a big boy he knows his limits." Ajay replied

"No Dawson is right i should rest I’ll be in my ready room wake when we are five minutes out from our destination." Roach said through a yawn

Roach rose to his feet and stumbled, Dawson caught him by the arm before he could face plan on the deck.

"Shall I escort you to your ready room sir?" Dawson said helping Roach into an upright position.

"That may indeed be prudent thank you lieutenant commander."

Dawson walked Roach down the corridor and tapped the door panel to the admiral’s ready room. Roach broke free of Dawson's grip and stumbled over to one of the couches and plopped down on it as soon as his face hit one of the throw pillows he fell dead asleep. Dawson shook his head and grabbed a sheet from the closet and threw it over Roach's sleeping form as he walked out of the room he turned and told the computer to dim the lights. Dawson privacy locked Roach's door and went back to the bridge and resumed his seat on the command couch.


Roach was awakened by a strong hand clasping his shoulder giving him a gentle shake.

"Admiral we are five minutes out from Ramius" a voice said as Roach opened his eyes to the head of his personal guard standing before him clad in heavy N7 armor.

"Thank you Trevor" Roach stood up he felt refreshed.

"Sir your uniform is unbuttoned." Trevor said staring at Roach's sculpted bare chest.

"Ah wouldn't want to distract the crew now would we?" Roach buttoned up his shirt and put his admiral's coat back on. "Funny i don't remember taking off my coat, or unbuttoning my shirt and taking off my boots." Roach said pulling his boots back on.

"I did that sir you looked uncomfortable tangled up in your jacket. And well i don't like to see any one sleep with boots on." Trevor said scratching his head.

"Well thank you Commander Knight. I'm glad someone was looking out for my comfort for my nap." Roach stood out glanced in the mirror and fixed his hair, and with Trevor at his side walked onto the bridge. As the exited the corridor the Litany of Defiance dropped out of warp. Roach took his place on the command couch between Ajay and Dawson.

"Admiral we have arrived at the Ramius weapons range." Ajay said from next to him

"Good deploy our targets let have some shooting practice and get the crews skill back up."

Roach watched as his crew ran through weapons drills the continued for hours until the crew had reached a proper response time.

"Alright bring us into the Ramius dry docks for resupply good work every one that was the shortest weapon shakedown the Litany has gone through after a refit." Ajay said.

Roach stood up. "Ajay you have the bridge I’m going down to the mess for dinner with the crew."
Roach left the mess hall with a full belly he loved being amongst his people. As he made his way down the corridor he came upon an odd sight a circle of beings all making noise and cheering roach muscled his way into the crowd and saw a sight that annoyed him. His chief of security was fighting with a Turian officer like some foolish school yard fight.

"This is a military vessel not an arena what the hell is going on here." Roach said crossing his arms.

The Turian lieutenant and Commander Knight both snapped to attention.

"Just having a difference of opinion sir Seronis and was saying that his reach gave him such an advantage in a fight that some one of my stature could not beat him." Trevor said his face turning scarlet like a child with his hand caught in the cookie jar.

"And he proved me wrong sir he is too fast for me to even get a hold on him."

Roach rubbed his temples in frustration.

"If you men want to flaunt your manhood so it someplace else not in the middle of the corridor we have a gym for a reason. And for god sakes Trevor i would have expected you to be mature enough to not show off I’m disappointed in both of you. Brawling like a pair of school boys two senior officers. You had better shape up marines i haven't got time to act like a school principal. While you stroke your egos. Both of you get out of my sight."

The crowd dispersed and the two officers sauntered off like whipped puppies. a strong hand grabbed Roach's shoulder making him jump.

"You Forget their age Tom, and their nature."

"Jack Harkness!" Roach said flipping around and pulling his friend into a hug.

"Did you miss me?" Jack said with a grin

"Yes! God man i missed you."

"I missed you too how do you get any work done on this ship I can’t turn my head without seeing someone gorgeous."

"I manage but sometimes I think I’m getting old, like just now why did I chew those two out it wasn't like me."

"I don't know when was the last time you got laid?" Jack said putting his arm around Roach's shoulders.

"It’s been a few months."

"MONTHS!? No wonder you’re out of character you have a bunch of pent up sexual frustration."

"I'm too old for random flings Jack."

"Utter nonsense come on I’m going to get you laid if i have to do it myself."

Jack dragged Roach to his quarters and waited while Roach changed into some civilian clothes. Then the two headed down to Ramius for a wild night on the town.

--Aves, the Great City of Sapare--

*Ackbar watches as Ironbeak's airship fleet moves south through the city, taking some fire from hostile ground forces but maintaining all speed to fulfill their objective. The ships keep tight formation until they reach the location of the Children's prepared force surge, and then begin spreading out to surround the area. By the time the Children's command structure has realized what is happening, it is far too late. Ackbar's forces, having been reinforced after they pulled back, suddenly return with a vengeance, sealing the trap shut and cutting off an enormous portion of the Children's army. The flyers attempt to fight at first, but then they stand down.*

*The tactical map utters a bleep.* Addrson: They're hailing us, sir. All open channels.

Ackbar: Patch them through.

Addrson: There you go, sir.

Ackbar: Thank you, Addrson. (To the map) This is Supreme Commander Ackbar of the Unified Children of Aves. We have received your hail.

*The voice on the other end is proud, but haggard and breathing heavily.* Voice: You think you have won today, boy?! You and your precious message of unity and equality...corrupting true Children away from their paths...defecting to the runners--Aves curse them all--all this, and still you have not defeated us!! You will not win--YOU WILL NEVER!!

*The line cuts off. Silence fills the command center for several long moments.*

Ironbeak: Sounds a lot like self-denial, sir. That, and the ravings of a mad-bird.

Ackbar: I have to concur, sadly. What's the situation in the trap?

Addrson: We've intercepted radio messages from the Children's high command to the forces caught in the trap and let them pass. The messages tell these troops to resume fighting and keep on going until Aves claims them.

Ackbar: And?

Addrson: Thing is, sir--they're not responding to these orders.

Ackbar: Interesting...very interesting. Ironbeak, send them an offer of surrender with all honors included.

Ironbeak: There's honor in being a prisoner of war? *The hawk glares at him, and he grumbles.* Fine, I'll do it.

Ackbar: Good. (To Adddrson) What's the situation elsewhere in the city?

Addrson: Looks like moving so many units in anticipation of a failed strike was the Children's last gasp. They've pulled out of most of the city's other districts and are concentrating in the Administrative and Military districts now.

Ackbar: Good. I'm going to take a quick break. You know where to find me if you need me--and have Ironbeak keep those Children forces on a tight leash.

Addrson: Yessir.

*The Admiral flies back up to the building and resumes looking out at the devastated city. From here, he can see the trap, with Ironbeak's airships covering one half and the ground forces covering the other.*

The battle for the city is nearing its final hours...and with it, the war. If everything goes to plan, on the first day of its 500th year, this terrible war will finally end. Billions upon billions of avians dead, for what? At its very core, nothing. If the Children had never succeeded in their plan, this would never have happened. *He shakes his head.* Can't dwell on that...Shadow may have given me this wonderful gift, but I can only stop my own mistakes from that other reality from happening. I can't do anything else...have to remember that.


*Aves's sun begins to sink towards the city's western horizon.*

Roach Awoke after his night on the town he rubbed his temples his hangover was not too bad. He noticed he was not alone in the hotel room Jack sat in the corner grinning at Roach.

“You sir are a stud.” He said with a laugh
“My god what did I do?” Roach said his memory a bit foggy though he felt very satisfied.
“Identical triplets and I must say they all left happy.” Jack said laughing.
“I remember now my god they were gorgeous.” Roach said his memory clearing up.
“Well get dressed you slut we have two planets to move today” Jack said mockingly.

*The two refreshed men returned to the Litany of Defiance Roach was met by the senior admirals the spent several hours preparing the massive cyno fields that would move the planets to their selected orbits*

“While I know this is what the people voted for it, is really wise to move these planets? Think of the repercussions it will have on the systems we move them to!” Admiral Alexander said in her crisp voice

“We will have to deal with any repercussions as they come Kelly. I want you to take fourth fleet with Arda First fleet will go with Ramius. Once we get into position I want immediate work to begin on setting up the Golan stations. Once we have that line of defense in place we will have the ability to uses our bases already there to take the rest of the Paragon Soul Region.”

“And what of the Sansha? They have proven to be formidable, this will only further inflame them we could be looking at all out war!” Said Admiral Torack in his gravely Mon Calamari voice

“That may be unavoidable the Sansha have aliied themselves with the Blood Raiders. They have had the Russian and Nod fleets tied up in skirmishes for weeks now.” Said Admiral Grigori Yanishev stoking his thick white beard and indicating several points along the border on the holomap in front of them.

“Ever since the four empires fell back into civil war the pirate factions have grown stronger we need to establish a foot hold, If we are going to attempt to make any kind of claim in this galaxy. If no one else has any concerns we will begin immediately.” Roach looked at his admirals they all nodded in acknowledgement and agreement.

*The process of moving the planets was quick they simply seemed to disappear from where they had previously been they reappeared their new places a few instants later. Both of fleets spreading out to form defenses around the planets while the science teams assessed their obits and accounted for all the variables. Several remote construction ships set about their programmed task of building the Golan platforms. It all went smoothly for a few days that’s when the trouble began.*

*Roach stared at his tactical reports the Sansha had made a major build up in the systems bordering the Free Peoples territory. His reports showed that several space stations had been raided and several thousand colonists had been captured. Meaning they were all now mindless cyborgs. The reports also showed that the likely destination for the targeted attack was Ramius Roach’s forces were spread too thin they had him pinned but he would not go quietly. Roach stood on the Litany’s bridge gazing out the viewport at the star field he was handed a report from his Intel officer about the Sansha also hitting a Turian colony. As he finished reading a large fleet of Sansha war ships entered the system, sixty Succubus’s, forty Phantasms, thirty nightmares and six Revenant carriers.*

“Well that’s quite the show of force.” Roach growled “Deploy fleet in standard defense formation prime out long range missiles and begin a bombardment hold tricobalt and transphaisc torpedoes until we get within range of those carriers. Prime the phaser arrays and scramble the fighters lets show these bastards who there are messing with!" Roach barked getting a cheer from the crew.

The team finally manages to stay conscious for more then a few seconds under the effects of the drug. They slowly attempt to take in their surroundings.

"Five, anyhow; speaking of which did our message about the rebel ever get through," Sahner queries.

A Young human doctor examines them curing them of many medical afflictions that humanity had eradicated long ago.

"..." The pilot continues onward, ignoring the cold, and the marines generally, until they decide to tell him that they've arrived or something like that. Antique ship in space that blows smoke...and they're still using lanterns.

"Yes, our unfortunate inability to get anywhere at a reasonable speed is a bit of inhibitor," Sahner responds.

The marines spread apart again when they reach the door, they gesture for the pilot to t enter.

The pilot walks through the door, fearlessly of course, and looks around the area, not showing his surprise that the people aren't freaking out still. I hope I don't have to deal with these guys for long...
