Quest for The Supreme Diamonds

Your eyes open, you are unable to remember anything past 5 seconds ago. You are completely surrounded by flames, wreckage from an airship perhaps?

Steve goes right, following the path.

"The gnomes are currently in hardly a position to do any fighting, they are besieged in their fortress, and a messenger is a man that could be fighting to protect what is left of our city."

Steve walks for quite a ways before seeing the faint outline of a peninsula in the distance off to the left of his vision.

"nonetheless, the gnomes have the advantage of knowing both the terrain and the enemy. They'd be able to tell us of secret passages, enemy troop positions, Tiefling battle tactics..." Tsubasa said, calmly ticking things off with his fingers "And tell us of any other nasty surprises. If the tieflings have summoned a powerful demon already, or managed to ally with other races, or invented some new destructive weapon, I'd prefer to know about it before it comes barreling down at us. Surely that is worth a single man?" Tsubasa says. "Nonetheless, whatever your decision, I will serve, but I ask you not to ignore the possibility of gaining lifesaving information. the temporary loss of one man might save many others."

"Well, since you're so keen on it and I can't possibly remove one of my own men from defence, I'm going to have to send you to let the gnomes know that they are not alone. It is wholly unfortunate that the world has come to this, the only allies we can hope for now are perhaps some still held human fortresses or an elven clan still holding their defensible forest."

"Very well then. I will go. May I be given a map of a route to the gnomish kingdom?" Tsubasa asks. "And perhaps supplies, for the road. if necessary, of course, I am ready to pay for it." he says. "How many days travel, is it?"

Steve travels out to the Peninsula, whilst munching on an Omelet from his Pot.

Steve arrives at the Sujet peninsula, "Hoy there, Friend or foe!" says a jovial man atop the wall.

"You're gonna need a boat to get there though, and until we pack up here and are ready to go, we're stuck here. Oh and, you won't find us on that map but we're somewhere north of Cruebrach."

"very well." Tsubasa says, heading off. He moves towards the nearest port town to find a boat(Hard to read your maps, they ain't high resolution enough for me to get names from them)

"Well I suppose friend. You haven't anything valuable in there do you?" Steve shouts good-naturedly.

Tsubasa begins moving the same direction as Steve went.

"Well we sure do, the great library has a lot of good books in it, and we have a thriving market!"

"Wait!" Steve shouts. "Do you know where the Tiefling Mountains are? And if you say 'They're those mountains there' then I'm gonna flip."

"Umm... There are no Tiefling Mountains that I know of... Are you referring to the tiefling stronghold in the north? or the tiefling mainstay in the south?"

"I'm referring to the Group of Tieflings that are Strongholded on a Mountain! Where is that?" Steve shouts irritably.

Tsubasa moves to where steve is.

"Well, there are a bunch of gnomes in a mountain but I honestly can't say if there are any tieflings holed up in there"

Steve also notices masayoshi appear beside him

"Right, well where are these mountains?" Steve exclaims.

"I don't know somewhere across the ocean I guess..."

"You know what? I'm about this close to making you lose it. Do you know who WOULD know where a Tiefling Stronghold is?"

Steve turns to Tsubasa. "Do you know where it is?"

"yes. I have a map. It's nice looking, too, and somewhat heavy. might be useful for hitting people in the head." Tsubasa says innocently. "not in a true combat situation, of course, but if one merely wished to inform another they were annoyed."

"Oooh, does it have gold trim? Let me see!" Steve takes the map and hits Tsubasa over the head. "Hey! You're right! Now let's go."

Then Steve gets on his carpet, opens his map and zooms off [censored] (wait... [censored] is Censored? A-s-s-u-m-i-n-g? Er...) Arseuming Tsubasa had the prescience to realize he would do that and got on the carpet.

I roll to leap onto the carpet as it takes off.

I stop suddenly to make him smash into the side of my house.

Masayoshi narrowly dodges the side of your house (which is somehow possible) and lands on the edge, his fingertips clinging to it while the carpetship holds it's position.
