So star wars 7,8, and 9

So not sure if any of you have seen this (how could you not its been everywhere)

Lucas has sold his company, Lucasfilm and all its other stuff to Disney who have said that they plan to release episode seven in 2015 and a star wars film every two to three years after.

So what you all think?

This above is your opinion this is what I wanted in the first post and what ever JL posted.

Back on topic Mr Lucas did always plan for a third trilogy.

My eyeballs, please, god, tear them out of my head before this occurs.

ehhh... he intended for there to be a second trilogy, regarding 7,8,9, before the prequels came out.
However, this isn't a lucasarts project. Lucas sold the company. In other words, it's the star wars name developed in an entirely new team and way.

Rumor I seen on the net to day says they plan to bring Vader back. <-- even if it's true i presume it will be a clone of force ghost, and a guy called Michael Arndt is going to write the screen play if any of you don't know who that is he write the story for toy story 3.

And last but not least seeming as I forgot to add it in the first pots George Lucas will be acting as creative consultant on the films,this should mean they still feel like star wars.

Creative consultants, however, have no leading vote on it. In other words, it all depends on how much they're actually willing to listen to Lucas, and from what I've thus far seen lately in similar situations in, say, command and conquer 4, I wouldn't bet on it.

Bringing Vader back, on the other hand, is the quintessence of fail. He's no longer evil, he was redeemed by his son... it's just not right. Still, Michael Arndt is writing the screenplay, which is a GOOD thing, but the problem is that screenwriter's scripts are only guidelines.

A director chooses what to implement and what to change on that model, so forgive me if I don't have faith in this nonetheless

Just to point out at this point that the hole bring vader back is just rumor, there is lots of them flying about.

When they announced the new films they also staed they looked to releases a star wars film every two years after that's a stand alone from the new films.

And last but not least it seems the live-action show could still happen, this was announced when i was in my mid teens but it seems the live-action TV show could finely see light.

Looks like J.J. Abrams got the job.

So its been some time since I posted on here, but I'll keep updating this topic with news.

So first up Bryan burk who will be producing Eps 7 as said they hope to start filming in 2014 http://collider.com/star-wars-episode-7-filming-2014-bryan-burk/

JJ has also announced that John williams will be returning to do the music for the film.

In other unrelated eps 7 news the clone wars tv show will not be returning for a 6th season but there will be some bonus content will be released at some point. The bonus content will be episodes that where going to make up season 2 clips can be found on youtube if any of you are interested. The clone wars will be replaced with a new animated show set in a “unexplored” era of the Star Wars Universe this new show will be directed by Dave Filoni.

The most recent news ( 2 days ago) EA has landed a exclusive licensing agreement for making star wars games.
