Out in the woods of one of Zakrein's mountainous landscapes, an ebony armored man made his way through the woods. He carried no weapon, and the only thing he wore other than the armor was red cloth hanging from his spaulders and tasset. He bent down and scooped up some dirt and clenched his fist around it. He laughed quietly. "...This world is ripe..." He began walking onward again. As he would make his way through the woods, animals would run in an instinctive fear. Singing birds would fall immediately silent, and the wind did not blow.

After hours of walking, he made his way to the gates of a small city, and began looking up and down its walls. "...It's a start..." He would begin walking toward the main gate, his metal feet clanking with each step eerily.

Auger struck with both of his blades, a manic grin on his face. Putting his strength to bear, he pushed with all of his strength as he attacked Xaldius's arms, his blades giving him an edge, not cutting through as planned due to the air ripples, but still using a large amount of kinetic force as he did so, using his legs to support it. Auger would continue moving forward as well as he could, intent on pushing Xaldius back and breaking his guard.

Xaldius would feel the blows, and know that he was not going to win this direct struggle. He changed his footing and shouted, "WULD!" He would fly backwards, out of Auger's reach. He would quickly follow up, raising his sword again. "IISS..." A mist would develop again on his sword that looked far colder and stronger than last time. He would swing it downward at Auger while screaming, "SLEN NUS!" The wave wouldn't actually inflict physical damage, but it would freeze anything caught in the blade beam solid in an extremely thick layer of ice.

"Well, that's new." Auger said, dodging the waves. his long sword and chain were caught directly in the blast, and froze solid, causing Auger to drop them on account of the sudden weight. De-attaching the chain, Auger left the longsword and chain on the ground, readying his remaining weapon, before charging in again, his short-sword at the ready, before rapidly using his momentum to switch to a low stance, kicking upwards at Xaldius's head area.

Xaldius would put his colossal claymore directly in front of his foot, making it act as a shield to the attacks. He would keep himself facing auger and yell "WULD NAH KHEST!" As he did this, he would fly forward and slam into Auger, broadside of his sword first, like a freight train.

"Urk!" Auger exclaims, being first pushed at a high rate before finally being knocked flying by the attack, sent into a nearby building, and through the other side, before finally regaining himself, using his blade to slow himself down by stabbing it into a nearby building's roof before standing up. " Seems my arm's broke... maybe a rib too...." Auger thought to himself, before idly stopping to think about his next move for a second. "hmmmm.... what should I do now..."

Xaldius would steel himself for a moment, expecting Auger to come charging back out of the rubble. When he didn't, his cape would ignite into flaming wings again. He jumped up and flew at the the top of the building he'd sent Auger through, shouting "WULD NAH KHEST!" and zipping himself in a fiery streak to the roof of the building. He would land at the opposite corner and look down to where Auger was.

what would appear to be a bunch of rubble would suddenly shift as a boulder shot out from it towards Xaldius at high speed. A smaller boulder travelled in it's shadow, unseeable at first. A few seconds after both hit, Auger appeared in the air behind where the boulders appeared, having gotten away from the area where the boulders were, before jumping and kicking off the wall of a pair of different buildings to give him the momentum he needed. Slashing at Xaldius with his good arm, his maniacal grin seemed to get larger.

Xaldius would be entirely unprepared for the attack, and would get hit by ever hit, but would manage to get a counter attack in. He would flip around and ax kick Auger in the head, sending him crashing down to the ground. His armor would not quite be breached yet, but would have some deep gouges in it in different areas. "Pruzah (good), Auger, pruzah (good)... nuz ni pruzaan! (... but not the best!)" He screamed as he brought his sword down to slash Auger while he was still recovering from the last attack.

Knocked out for a few seconds, auger was surprised to see Xaldius crashing down upon him. rolling just in time, he also threw his own blade as he narrowly rolled out of the way of the slash, the back of his shirt torn by the attack, and a thin red line of blood appearing on his back. scrambling, he rolled again, bringing himself to at least a crouching position, in an attempt to get back on-balance.

Xaldius would roll to the side to avoid the blade and get back up and raise his sword as if he hadn't even started fighting yet. He kept it raised toward Auger, then noticed his reflection in the sword. He saw all the damage to his metal body. "Krosis... (sorrow)" He mumbled. "...Ahzid ahraanah do kein... (The bitter wounds of war)" The flames from both his wings and his eyes would intensify. "You will pay dearly for this..." He would let the sword disintegrate and he would begin hurling waves of frost magic at Auger. "Halvut krah fus do dinok! Feel the cold embrace of death!"

Auger dodged one wave of frost with a jump, before handspringing over the next. It seemed he had no way of dodging the third, however, midair as he was. Auger closed his eyes and readied himself to finally embrace the death that he had skirted so close to for so long...
only to find himself not only dodged the wave of frost, but he was now suddenly much farther away from Xaldius than he remembered. Standing in the air, he noticed two blue bands of constantly flowing electricity around his ankles, glowing with a peculiar hum. "hmm, that's also new." He said, curiosity sparking in him. Suddenly, a thought occured to him, and he imagined himself moving towards Xaldius. One jerking motion brought him ten feet closer to Xaldius than he was before. "well... isn't this neat." Auger said grinning, jumping above Xaldius, his fist balled up, grinning once more.

"Aam!? (What!?)" Xaldius exclaimed. "FUS RO DAH!" He screamed upwards at Auger. The same force that hit him extraordinarily hard before hit him once again, this time, very far straight upward. He would raise his sword straight upward, so Auger would come down and be impaled on it.

Moving forward, he went to attack xaldius head on, seeming to move already fast, but suddenly shunted at incredibly high speeds next to Xaldius as he did so. As this happened, however, the lightning around auger's ankles seemed to lessen in volume... as he let off one powerful punch at Xaldius's face.

Xaldius would turn but would be too slow to stop the blow entirely. His arm would move the hand just enough to prevent a direct-hit to the faceplate, but a chunk of metal would break off behind the force of the punch. He wouldn't seem to feel it, but he was aware of it by sound this time. He quickly grabbed Auger by the neck and screamed "IISS SLEN NUS!" It would freeze the majority of his body.
"DAANIK JOORAH! (Damn mortals)" Xaldius swore. "ALWAYS BOUNCE THE [censored] BACK AT THE WORST POSSIBLE TIME!" He put his hand to the side of his helmet, and looked at his body. He knew his current body couldn't take much more, but Auger was prepared anew. At this rate, he'll break me to pieces. He would look up at Auger who would still be frozen, but would decide against continuing the fight. "DU VEN MUL RIIK!" He screamed, far louder than he had at the first time. The fog would thicken to the point of Auger not being able to see more than a few inches in front of him.
"DAANIK HIN JOOR REYLIIK TOOR! (Damn your mortal race to hell)" The voice came from all sides. "Savor this small victory, Auger. Next time there will be no miracle to save you!"
The voice would echo a few times from all directions, slowly getting quieter and quieter, but no more words would come. The fog, however, it would be hours before it would fade.

Auger would initially push forward, heavily slowed by the fog, as the lightning anklets faded, just before he collapsed to his knees. "Damn... would have really.... wanted to..." Auger continued, beginning to close his eyes, as the adrenaline stopped pouring due to an absence of threat, and his consciousness started to fade. "wanted to... fight... some more..." Auger said, before slipping into sleep on the spot.

Xaldius would be far out into the woods again, his weapon long having been reabsorbed. He would be looking himself over, seeing all the gouges in his body.
"Daanik Joorah. Fent ag tiid. (Damn mortals. [You] shall burn [in] time.)" He swore to himself. He would sit in the woods, trying to figure out how he would repair his damaged body.

Skaer quickly threw his shielding up for both blasts. "Damn you.. Running. Short..." he shouted, gasping for air. "Aeil. De.. Roes...!" he shouted as lightning seemed to flicker between his finger tips and white energy poured toward the behemoth.

Oroboros took the attack in it's midsection, burning a large portion of the beast, to the bone in some places. A shrill shriek signalled oroboros's pain, but it looked at Skaer with not the intent of retreat... but vengeance. Noting the guard's corpses, it concentrated for a second, only for them to get back up, their flesh seeming to dissolve off of them as they rose, one holding up a bow and firing at Skaer. Meanwhile, Oroboros jumped at Skaer, It's maw opened wide.

"This is just utterly ridiculous" he shouted before trying to dodge, he managed to get out of the brunt but the side of Orboros' mandible struck his side as he did so, causing a wide gash before he even thought of putting up his shield. However, as The long snake flew past he rammed Steve into it's side with both hands in an attempt to make a massive slash.

Oroboros Screeched in pain again, instinctively coiling, bringing it's mass in to hit Skaer out of pure instinct, as it's massive body broke through a stone pillar. The wound the steve-facsimile left was quite apparent as a cut upon the serpent's body, but even such a huge blow was not mortal to this large and stubborn of a creature. Regaining it's composure, it then retreated to a different corner, as the undead guards charged for Skaer.

Skaer picked himself up off the ground. "Bring it on you freaks" he grunted through gritted teeth. "Rise brother" he whispered "One left in me for now" he said as an Earth Golemn rose from the earth as if detatching itself from the ground. It stood roughly ten feet tall, its eyes were made from marble and it sported granite plating over it's body. In it's hand was a rather average tree with a granite slab on the end as a maul. "ORDERS?" it spoke in a mechanical and extremely deep voice. "Kill them all, I need to recharge."

Oroboros shifted away as a pair of halberd-wielding undead lead the charge against the golem. Behind them, several others followed with hammers, and bows, to attack. Oroboros summarily ignored the golem As it gave chase towards skaer, Flame in it's maw.

Skaer put up another shield, his energy was running low and he could not keep this up. "Minion... TAG" "Yes sir" it grunted as it took the full brunt of Oroboros' attack while Skaer rolled away, pushing away from the ground with his telekinesis to go a bit farther and landing, dagger first onto the head of an undead. He quickly brought up his primary weapon and sliced the second one in half. "Still more, but at least I can fight like this"

The snake charges, the golem easily blocking the flames, but crumbling when it attempted to stop Ouroboros's physical attack. Nonetheless, it had gotten a good hit at Ouroboros's nose, and the snake hissed in pain. The undead, meanwhile, continue to charge Skaer, some in the back continuing to shot arrows, while the remaining footsoldier swung his halberd in a wide arc.

Skaer walked toward the undead, unleashing his final reserves of energy as he tore one across the battlefield, into another and ripped their limbs from their rotten bodies with his mind. He was now visibly perspiring large amounts of sweat, and his hands shook from overexertion. For the others, he threw his dagger at one. The blade planted itself in the back of it's head after going through the front and was quickly yanked back to Skaer. At the same time, he was slicing another one in half with Steve.
