My old Human New species

Well the Acronyms of U.P.A. stands for United Planets of America
Basically during WW III a group of 1 million Americans left earth drifted for 100 years and colonized about 50 planets all named after the old States witch lye near the federation-cardassian boarder only the Cardassians knew about the for about 300 years until Stardate 77529 (July 12th 2400) When the USS Akira gout caught in a conflict with between the Cardassians and the UPA (they don't like each other) In what is known to the UPA as the Feddassian incident the UPA lost one Shark class Cruiser and the Cardassians lost 2 galor class vessels.

The UPA uses Advanced antimatter torpedoes roughly the strength between a quantum torp and a Transphasic Torp
they also us Compact plasma shielding witch uses a computer to compress a shield to the exact point of impact Effectively quadrupling the power of there shields

There legal system is very similar to Americans of the past except

There are planetary presidents and the president who is the figure head for all the UPA

There constitution can only be changed by the people with a 75% vote wile the change con only be submitted by the senates courts or the house

there planets all have different qualities like New York has a population of 10.7 billion the highest in the UPA wile Michigan has a production out put parallel if not better than utoplanneta shipyards on mars. Indiana is a big producer of food stuffs

The UPA has no replication technology in its place they have excellent food preservatives being able to keep food out in the air for 10 years and in a food store for 100 years

The citizens of the UPA are slightly physically different the those of Earth for instance the Citizens of Alaska are shorter but stronger due to Alaska’s heaver gravity at 1.7x earth gravity while on Hawaii they are taller and weaker do to it's .6 stander gravity
