So as many know, I'm not into video games. Just don't care for em and don't have the time for them. That being said, there is one video game I just love and it is Jedi Knight II.

I have played the game three or four times now and I still enjoy equaly each time. Despite the fact I know the stoy and the graphics aren't great, the gameplay is simply awesome. The game engine is one of the best and every time I play a Star Wars game, I keep wishing that the engine worked like that of JKII, especially when it comes to being a jedi, Having the numerous force powers, saber attacks and cool things like back flips, side flips and all sorts of cool things and cool mission and cool maps, it is an overall great game that I always find entertainment in. And I believ that is what my english teacher would have called a run on sentence Smile

Lol. I have always liked Jedi Knight 2. I find it very fun to do lightsaber tricks, like when your character has two sabers, you can spin them around with the Force like a barrier.

that would be JKIII Jedi Academy I believe. You only have one saber in JKII. The cheats in JKII make the game so much more awesome too, I love the cheats in that game

Oh, yea, that IS Jedi Academy. Well, I liked Jedi Knight 2 as well. I think it was more challenging than Jedi Academy.

Yea, I think I'd have to agree with him on that. Jedi Academy may have had better saber styles, but Jedi Knight 2 is just better overall.

yeah, I did see some cool things like running off of walls. It would be cool if they would actually go back and remake JKII, except with modern graphics, the euphoria engine and the best of the JKII and JKIII engines.

That actually gets me to wondering, when will they start remaking games? They remae movies and TV shows and music left right and center, but not games really

I've always thought the same thing. One game I plan on remaking in the future is Colony Wars, the space sim shoot-em-up that was for the old Playstation. And as I often say, it was one of the best games of its time, though a tad underrated IMO.

Seeing JK 2 and JK 3 remade would be cool too, especially if they added force repulse into it. That was my absolute favorite power in The Force Unleashed.

I still have yet to play TFU. I was so disappointed that they weren't going to do the PC version when they originally were going to. If they had done it for PC, even I would have bought it

Ah, Jedi Knight II, Jedi Outcast.
I loved the multi-player options, though, I do wish it had the capability to make your own jedi like in Jedi Academy, and it doesn't have the dual wield or double sabers either. However, it's maps were fun to play in, and the missions were a little more challenging than in Jedi Academy I believe. Fighting Desaan was more fun than fighting Tavion, that's for sure... I do miss the classic single wield duels...

(Yes I know it's bumping, but I thought it had relevance to the topic at hand and worth mentioning.)

no need to justify yourself, it's your forum!

And yeah, gameplay is just awesome and the story is great, I love how it starts off in one direction, but by the end, it's something else all together. It's great fun over and over again Smile
