nice, using MAGIX too eh, that's neat! I really like your movements. They're very clean and professional. Do you build all your models as well? or do you mod existing ones, use existing ones etc?

I use models made by people for Star Trek: Bridge Commander; they have the best quality without putting a lag on my computer. I import them into MAX with a plugin, then put the textures on them, etc.

nice! do you ever go into trying to do one with crazy detail, like those crazy people on, oh what's that site's name, i can see it in my head, you get all kinds of free models from there, scifimesh.com or something like that

Nah, I just work with what I get from Bridge Commander and hope for the best. I'm not that good at modeling yet (or texturing, for that matter).

ah, well, it takes a lot of practice. i've never used max, but i've been tinkering with 3d animation for oh, let's see four years maybe, and i still haven't got the hang of it yet, getting better though, just i still can't model organic objects like faces

I'm still learning organics too. I heard there's a program called makehuman that allows you to make models of 3d humans and import them into 3d programs. You can even set age, gender, etc. It's pretty neat.

yeah, somebody showed me that once when i was trying to model faces. it didn't a very creepy and detailed cg of my face, it was so realistic!
