I'm surprised I haven't seen a topic about this yet, I got my copy on release date what i can say about the campaign is that its one of the best yet although saying that I'm not sure if it lives up to halo 2. Spartan ops is pretty good as well.

Multiplayer isn't bad ether, and they have finally added team snipers today!

Thoughts?

Well, I don't think it'll be a bad game, but other than that I have no expectations. This is a new studio, but one known for quality too, so... I just prefer to wait and see on it.

Oh, really? I heard that Bungie wasn't doing this title.
Edit: Looked it up, and it's confirmed that while they do some of the marketing, Halo: Reach was the last title in the Halo series developed by Bungie.

Sorry didn't make my self clear, Microsoft owns halo and so they made 343 out of the core group of the Bungie team that have been making halo since combat evolved,343 now oversees development of the halo franchise (Books, games, comics, and anything else halo). So new name same guys.

Ahhh, but the leaders of Bungie - where I put a lot of stock in development from - and the unique atmosphere are gone, as Bungie's become independent, and the majority of their members are actually still with them, so saying the "core group" is still there is debatable. Moreover, former Bungie employees are not at all the only employees in 343.
