lesser god: Pokey

Pokey was formerly a zerg spine crawler, simply deployed on an RPG map near an ultralisk spawning point. little did they know, however, that pokey was a rare mutation able to gain experience from this, and did so even as they left him there, after beating the level. Pokey eventually became so powerful he made himself exist in this reality and when he finally hit his limit, he had gained the power of a lesser god. pokey's followers are normally neutral or chaotic good, though neutral or chaotic neutral occasionally join as well.

Pokey has very few limitations for clerics choosing to worship him:
1. Do not discourage poking, for it is a useful tool for getting one's attention
2. poke in the same way you would wish to be poked
3. do not make sexual double entendres about the appearance of pokey, whatsoever


Cleric Training:
Pokey desires one to understand his universal truths if they are to follow him
1. All problems' solutions lie in a poke, somewhere down the line
2. poking is an important and essential part of the universe
3. tis not the poke, but the intent behind it, that the person should be judged for

Clerics in his order do learn some healing, but mainly stay focused on offensive magics, usually disabling or damaging ones.

quests:
As pokey realizes his words will only spread if his clerics can make them listen to them, pokey often sends them on errands to increase their own power, however, he occasionally sends them to find an artifact, sometimes from the adventuring band that birthed him. Pokey IS a chaotic good god, so occasionally he will send a group of adventurers against an evil powerful enough to be a real threat, but he prefers to let some other god order it most of the time

Prayers:
Pokey takes prayers, but does not require them, and takes them in the common language only.

temples:
Pokey only has one establishment dedicated to him: the temple of thorns. As his main place of worship, it is also where mini-pokey's can be seen, alike to him in shape, though not in size, and they serve both as mentors and guardians.

I like this guy. He has good morals and doesn't afraid of anything.

you could always worship him - he even answers prayers rather often, though only contributes by a huge amount if the need is truly great.
