Good Ideas, but it's extremely Linear. It's basically "GO DOWN HALLWAY, GET SCARED! GO DOWN ANOTHER HALLWAY, GET SCARED." There's no room for exploration.

that's actually pretty challenging stuff you thought up. The mirror is currently impossible though because I have no character models and I have no intention of adding them.

everything else will require lots of scripting so that should keep me occupied (after I get home and complete the level hub that is)

oh and, congratulations Nut_column for winning a single game pick for the month of August. Read the top post for the new rules I have decided on

Hmmm. I wasn't 100% of what it is you're looking for, so I went generic as to be easily modifiable.

Floorplan 1

Due to text and size limitations, I'll explain some more details...

  • For the super zombie, have a cutscene introducing him, a chainsaw guy would be cool, but cliched, so some heavy-set zombie would be good.
  • For the greenhouse, place the zombies behind the trees, as well as the bodies. Make the player think he's safe when he actually isn't.
  • For the first zombie attack, a cutscene would be cool too, but not necessary.
  • For loot, ammo, a few guns, and a healthpack would be great...and needed. Higher difficulty = less loot.
  • For the second zombie attack, right after it, make the super zombie yell out or something, a small cutscene like that coming from further down the way would be great for aesthetics.


It should offer a decent ability to explore, while adding in a mini-boss and some possible background to the story if utilized right in my opinion.

Then again, tis a free floor planner, I couldn't really go into too much detail...


I shall see to getting a better floor planner and making a much more detailed, multi-level, and hopefully more capable of larger exploration while setting up the entire aesthetics of the circumstances the main character finds himself in.

Remember, Level scores compound so if you make another map you get another scoreset for more points

Nut_Column is still in the lead overall however

Having only used this floor planner recently, I'm not 100% affiliated with the features.

I can say I went over-the-top with the size on the first floor...
